San Diego, CA – June 13th, 2013 – ChiroTouch™, the nation’s leader in chiropractic software, is now the industry leader in assisting chiropractors in achieving meaningful use attestation with its fully-certified total practice management software system.“We recognized early on that achieving attestation was going to be a critical issue for many chiropractors and moved to create a robust support structure to help our family of practices,” said Robert Moberg, President of ChiroTouch. "While other software companies simply chose to complete the EHR certification process, we took it a step further. A very big step further-and implemented a wizard that would help guide the chiropractor every step of the way. We also established an ARRA-dedicated support team for those requiring additional help.”
The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act was signed into law on February 17, 2009. The health IT component of the bill, the HITECH Act, appropriates $19.2 billion dollars to encourage chiropractors to adopt electronic health records. In effect, the bill pays chiropractors to realize the full benefits of a modern EHR system. This stimulus bill should help provide most chiropractors in the United States with an electronic health record system at ZERO net cost to the practice.
ChiroTouch has a proven history of helping chiropractors achieve attestation and take full advantage of the ARRA stimulus incentive. ChiroTouch offers in-depth webinars on a variety of attestation topics, including step-by-step boot camps, to ensure that chiropractors are receiving all relevant and up-to-date information on the stimulus program. In addition, ChiroTouch offers an ARRA wizard within its software to help chiropractors navigate the stimulus process while also providing a dedicated, knowledgable, and accessible staff ready to answer any questions and provide support.
“We've been thrilled with the opportunity to help chiropractors across the country achieve full attestation, but there are so many practices out there that have yet to adopt a fully-certified EHR system,” added Robert. “Time is running out, and the payout will soon drop by nearly two-thirds. And for those who say they’re not reliant on Medicare, there is little question that insurance companies will follow Medicare’s EHR requirements as well. So in the end, this affects nearly all practices.”
ChiroTouch is a fully-certified server-based software designed from the ground up to maximize efficiencies for virtually every process, including patient self check-in, scheduling, SOAP notes, billing, interoffice communication and more. ChiroTouch has developed its HIPAA-compliant system to drastically reduce the time it takes to perform tasks that chiropractors are already doing. That gives chiropractors more time to see more patients—resulting in increased referrals, improved efficiencies, and a direct, measurable impact on practice profitability.
