San Diego, CA – July 19, 2010 –  ChiroTouch™, the nation's leader in chiropractic practice management software, has recently recruited Derek Wilson to assume the role of Vice President of Sales as it continues its efforts to reach out to the chiropractic community.

“We’ve been very fortunate at ChiroTouch to see such sustained growth,” said Robert Moberg, President of ChiroTouch. “And we know that such growth would demand a dedicated executive to ensure we not only continued growth, but that we managed the expansion smartly.  With his combined experience in both executive sales and software, we knew we had made the right choice.”

Derek earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from University of London, and a  Master of Science in Marketing from University of Manchester, England.  After his graduate studies, he went on to pursue a career in sales and marketing, with a focus on software solutions and network-based services at AT&T; Sterling Software (Managing Director , N. Europe); Einstein Medical Systems (VP Sales); and BAX Global (Director Customer Data Systems), where he was responsible for all customer-facing interactions in Sales & Marketing.

“I was excited to learn of the opportunity with ChiroTouch,” said Derek.  “After having met with Robert and the staff, it was evident to me that I was looking at a company that is truly dedicated to the profession they serve.  A lot of companies pay lip service in that regard, but here was a company that actually practiced what they preached, and I couldn’t wait to get started.  I was eager to apply my intimate familiarity and experience with software, software-as-a--service, medical practice management solutions, and ecommerce to the position of Vice President, where I could spearhead the growth across the country.

Chiropractic software designed from the ground up to maximize efficiencies for virtually every process, including patient self check-in, scheduling, SOAP notes, billing, interoffice communication and more, ChiroTouch has developed its HIPAA-compliant system to drastically reduce the time it takes to perform tasks that chiropractors are already doing.  That gives chiropractors more time to see more patients—resulting in increased referrals, improved efficiencies, and a direct, measurable impact on practice profitability.

“Since bringing on Derek,” added Robert, “we’ve seen record-breaking results.  The first full quarter after his hire, we brought more chiropractic practices into the ChiroTouch family than in any quarter in our company’s history.”
