The amazing tool that I am writing about is workshops.  Most of the largest and most successful practices in our country were built through patient education and workshops. Unlike table talk where you may only have a moment to share a blurb or fact with the patient, the workshop gives you the opportunity to share the bigger picture and give a greater insight of how they may benefit from your services.

Giving people handouts, newsletters, flyers, and brochures are great ways to give your patients and community information. But nothing can create more authority and credibility for you as a doctor than the power of public speaking.  Many of you know this truth already and yet are not taking action either due to lack of experience or fear that they won’t work.

The most common reasons that I have heard for doctors not giving workshops are:

  • I am too busy.
  • I am not a good speaker.
  • I can’t get anyone to attend.
  • People don’t get it so why bother.

I completely understand the apathy that I hear from these doctors.  The reality is that we have a tremendous health crisis going on in this country right now and our chiropractic message needs to be shared.  You are going to be pleasantly surprised at how receptive the public is to our message of vitalistic approach to healthcare is.  If you are having a difficult time getting people to attend your workshops this is an area ChiroTouch can be extremely helpful.
